The short version
- ✓ Your Meta access token is encrypted and stored only on your machine (Windows Credential Manager).
- ✓ Your ad account data is stored in a local SQLite database on your machine. It is never sent to our servers.
- ✓ Adwright communicates directly with the Meta Marketing API. We do not proxy or inspect your API calls.
- ✓ This website collects no personal data beyond standard server access logs held by the hosting provider.
1. Data collected by the desktop application
The Adwright desktop application stores the following data locally on your machine only:
- Meta access token — encrypted at rest using the Windows Credential Manager (DPAPI). Never transmitted to Empire Amplify servers.
- Ad account mirror — a local
SQLite copy of the campaign tree you download from Meta. Stored at
%APPDATA%\adwright\mae.sqlite. Never transmitted to Empire Amplify servers. - Application logs — diagnostic
log files stored locally at
%APPDATA%\adwright\logs\. Used only for local troubleshooting. Not uploaded automatically.
2. Licensing service
Pro licence keys are validated via a server-side API endpoint hosted on Vercel (our licensing service). When you activate a licence, the application sends:
- The licence key you entered.
- A machine fingerprint (hashed hardware identifiers — never individually identifying).
No personal information (name, email, ad account data) is sent during licence validation.
Payment for Pro is processed by Stripe. Stripe's own privacy policy governs any data you provide at checkout.
3. Data collected by this website
This website (adwright.app) does not use analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or cookies beyond what is set by the hosting provider (standard server access logs — IP address, user-agent, referrer, timestamp). These logs are not used for advertising and are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
No personal information is collected via contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or similar mechanisms on this site.
4. Third-party services
The desktop application integrates with the Meta Marketing API under your own Meta developer credentials. Meta's Privacy Policy governs the data you access via that API.
Adwright is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
5. Data deletion
Because your data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by
removing the application files and the data directory at
%APPDATA%\adwright\.
To request deletion of any server-side data held in our licensing service (licence key record), email subscriptions@empireamplify.com.au.
